# How can I save a document as a draft?

A document generator can save a document as a draft to, for example, send it later. Just click on **Save** on the top left bar and the document will be saved and you will find it in **Drafts**. Note that saved documents are considered drafts until they are sent out, then you can find them in **Sent Out** category.
